Some of us may wonder whether we can ever stop snoring. The good news is that we can reduce and even stop snoring completely. The bad news is that snoring may be a sign of a serious, potentially life-threatening medical condition – Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It is usually associated with snoring and drop in blood oxygen level, and if we do not seek medical treatment, we may die from it !!

Snoring is the harsh sound produced when a person inhales during sleep. This noise occurs when the soft palate and uvula vibrate against the back of our throat or the base of our tongue.

Snoring itself is not an illness, but it can be a potential problem, especially if it disturbs other people’s sleep. Snoring may not be an illness, but you should not overlook it. It can be a sign of a serious, potentially life-threatening medical condition – Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). OSA is a disorder characterized by repeated episodes of airway brockage that occur during your sleep. It is usually associated with snoring and drop in blood oxygen level.
